Lindsey's Horseback Riding Birthday Party--2015

This was one of the funnest birthday parties!  We took the girls horseback riding. (Groupon Deal!)  Then we had doughnuts and opened snacks right there at the farm/ranch.  The girls loved it.

Camp Peppin 2015

Lindsey is a monkey when it comes
to climbing. She beats EVERYONE! It's
her claim to fame and she attributes it
to her fridge climbing skills as a toddler.

Dissecting owl pellets with Katie.
We love Lindsey's friend, Katie.

Minnesota Schools have a fun tradition for 5th graders. They attend a science camp, of sorts. In Farmington School District they take the kids to a YMCA camp down south near the Wisconsin border--Camp Peppin is its name.  It is right on Lake Peppin. Beautiful, beautiful area near Red Wing.  I got to sleep in the same cabin with a bunch of 5th grader girls.  Fun, learning, and food abound.  Here are some of the highlights...

Spring Break 2015--Nauvoo

We live only 6 hours from Nauvoo.  We spent our spring break exploring and learning from the missionaries at Old Nauvoo--our church history site in Illinois. These are some of the highlights.
