My final moments as a single woman included visiting Ethan and the kids in January. It was a "typical" weekend of church activities and attending to the final pieces of my move to Minnesota. When I returned to Utah, I launched into the final touches of our wedding preparation and packing up my house. I also attended various bridal showers. Fortunately I had persistent friends who insisted on these bridal showers. I was resistant, but in the end they proved to be memorable and a means to say farewell to dear friends and family who I miss deeply now that I live in the Midwest. Here are some of the photos we managed to capture. You'll notice that I still have my "boot" on my ankle at this phase of the journey.
